Welcome to Ennistymon & District Credit Union Ltd

Ennistymon & District Credit Union Ltd was founded in 1974 and now has almost 5800 members and assets of approximately €24 million. This demonstrates the confidence of local people in their peers to manage and control the collective funds of members.

Every € saved in Ennistymon & District Credit Union is owned by people living and working in this area. Most of it has been put to work, in the form of loans, to other members – loans outstanding currently stand at €4.7 million.

The Credit Union philosophy is unique in the financial services sector in that we put people first. The Credit Union motto is simple – "Not for Profit – for Service."
